As Chief of Staff and Digital Strategy & Multimedia Lead for The Free Peach , I planned, created, and scheduled the newspaper's social media content. I used analytics to track engagement and adapt posting strategy, ultimately growing the audience from 2,000 to 10,000+ Instagram followers, and garnering over 480,000+ TikTok views.
I also oversaw editorial workflows and mentored writers, contributing writing, graphics, and edits that reinforced The Free Peach’s voice and brand consistency.
I co-led a public outreach project focused on teaching people how to identify native plants in Berkeley. For the project, I created a TikTok account and filmed short videos that highlighted native species and explained their cultural history. The account reached 20,000+ views.
I also designed a website for the project, which expanded its community engagement.
As a research affiliate for the Quantitative Ecosystem Dynamics Lab, I initiated the lab’s public outreach program. I created and managed social media channels that showcased climate and ecology research to public audiences, which received over 7,000 views and direct engagement from educators and journalists.
